More Than A Trend, Focus On Functionality

It is a class of software testing that determines whether the application satiates the basic minimum user expectations. At SQAIT we validate the system software against the functional specifications/requirements by testing each function of the software with the functional requirements. During functional testing, we check for User Interface, APIs, Database, Security, Server communication, and other application functionality tests.

Our prime objective while checking the functionalities of the software system involves- testing the main functions, testing basic usability and accessibility of the system, and for bugs and errors.

Functional Testing

Defining. Designing. Executing and Reviewing

In addition, we conduct functional tests to ensure that the product performs according to its stated claims. We also sew up whether the product meets specifications squares and is mapping with the human mind. Since it is done before the product rolls out of the door, it includes the steps that we strictly abide by – Defining the requirements, designing Tests, Executing the tests, Analyzing the results, Verifying these results, and then wrapping up with reporting the results. Testing functionally is an act of verifying if the script of code works appropriately or not. Basically, the developers of SQAIT does this by running the program and checking if the output matches what is expected. If not, then the test fails and the process for correcting it restarts.
